Here's a crazy "holiday" being observed today
National Chocolate Covered Anything Day
Weird, right? I guess as holidays go, one that has anything to do with chocolate is pretty awesome. I am assuming that it is meant to be Chocolate Covered
Anything Edible day, but who knows?
Three chocolate covered edibles to consider for today:
1)
Chocolate Covered Bacon . Is your mouth watering at the mere thought of this the way mine is? Whoever thought of the combination is a GENIUS! If you haven't tried the chocolatey-sweet-salty-baconey-melt-in-your-mouth amazingness, find some today. Most specialty candy stores carry it.
2)
Chocolate Covered Raisins Timeless classic movie candy. You can't go wrong with these, and one can argue that they are healthy! (ish...) Right? At least one serving of fruit, I'm thinking.
3) Chocolate Covered Crickets Really! You can actually buy these! Not much to say about them since it is not a confection I have actually tried, (nor am I likely to try them, but who knows? I've done crazier things.) One website that sells these provides you with an "I Ate A Bug Club" button. I'm sure I qualify for that club, although not intentionally...
